The Lincoln Vein Clinic offers a full range of treatments for all aspects of venous disease, from unsightly thread veins on the legs, varicose veins and varicose skin changes to advice regarding the prevention of DVT.
All consultations, investigations and treatments are provided by Mr Bruce Braithwaite, Consultant Vascular Surgeon who has a special interest in venous disease. The clinic is run from The Lincoln Hospital on the Netleham Road which is part of the Circle HealthGroup
The initial consultation consists of a full medical history including a venous continuous-wave doppler assessment. Patients with varicose veins may need further investigations, including a venous duplex scan. Duplex scans can usually be undertaken at the same visit. At this consultation the patient will be offered appropriate treatment options.
We can treat the following vein problems- Varicose veins including recurrent varicose veins
- Thread ‘spider’ veins on legs
- Reticular veins
Treatments available include- Radiofrequency ablation
- Ambulatory Phlebectomy
- Foam Sclerotherapy
- Microsclerotherapy
